Renovation of Old Urban Residential Neighborhoods

According to the Guiding Opinions on Comprehensively Promoting the Renovation of Old Urban Residential Neighborhoods issued by the General Office of China's State Council in 2020, old urban residential neighborhood refers to the residential areas, and standing-by residential buildings as well, in cities and counties that were built up for decades and strongly required for renovation by local residents in view of their inadequate maintenance and management, incompletion of municipal facilities, and imperfection of community service facilities. It is planned that all the listed old urban residential neighborhoods built before the end of 2000 will be renovated within the term of the14th Five-Year Plan.
