Cultural undertakings refer to the development of all kinds of culture types in a broad sense. While more often, in a narrow sense, it emphasizes non-profit cultural activities, including public culture service, literary and artistic creation, national cultural protection, cultural exchange, talent development, etc., which are managed by the government and supported by the government finance, differing from the cultural industries as profit-making activities.
