Jiedao Office is the grass-root agency under the leadership of the municipal district government, or the municipal government where the city has no districts. Here, the word “Jiedao,” with the common sense of street, has another important reference in the modern urban management, i.e., the area under the jurisdiction of Jiedao Office at same administrative level with town.
