​Administrative Village

Administrative village is the lowest rural administrative unit under the jurisdiction of town government in China. It is under the leadership of village party branch and village committee. In general, an administrative village is composed of several natural villages, while in particular cases a natural village of large scale may be precisely an administrative village, or divided into several administrative villages.
