National Steering Committee of Urban and Rural Planning Education in China

Authorized and guided by the Ministry of Education, the committee functions as an organization of experts who are appointed and supervised by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, taking the responsibility of providing study, guidance, advisory, and service for professional development and talent cultivation of urban and rural planning higher education. The Professional Guidance for Undergraduate Curriculum of Urban-Rural Planning Education in China (2013) edited by the committee has been an important reference for curriculum setting of urban-rural planning education in universities and colleges.
