Urban-Rural Planning System

Urban-rural planning system has different interpretations in different countries, and in China it refers to the entire urban-rural planning operation framework that mainly consists of planning legislation system, planning technical system and planning administration system. The planning legislation system is the core to define the rights, codes, organizations, implementation approaches and so on of urban-rural planning; while the planning technical system involves the specific technical methods, planning contents, outcome requirements, etc. in making a concrete urban or rural plan. And planning administration system mainly refers to the administrative actions of planning formulation and implementation, planning permission, and planning supervision carried out by certain level of government or planning department.
