It is a countermeasure to resolve the phenomena that, in one city, industrial areas and urban areas are separated far from each other due to some reasons, which causes the consequences of isolated dormitory towns and long commuting distance, etc. It aims at strengthening the interaction and even integration of urban functions with industrial production in spatial development through industrial upgrading and urban renovation for the mutual prosperity of both the city and the industry.
