The term of “Three Olds” refers to three kinds of regeneration areas, i.e., old city, old industrial area, and old village. It was firstly used in Guangdong Province when the Ministry of Land and Resources and Guangdong Provincial Government jointly launched a new demonstration project of “three olds regeneration” in 2009.
