Land Bid-Inviting, Auction, and Listing

In China, there are four approaches of state-owned land use right transfer, that is bid-inviting, auction, listing, and negotiation. According to related laws and regulations, all the profit-oriented land leasing activities should be done through bidding, auction, and listing, which is abbreviated as “land bid-inviting, auction and listing”, so as to avoid any potential problems caused by negotiations, such as rent-seeking.
