Greenway

As a kind of infrastructure for slow traffic, a greenway refers to a linear green and open space, usually built along a natural set, such as river, seaside, and piedmont, which is built mainly for pedestrians and cyclists. The concept was carried out into practice since the 2010s in some Chinese cities, like Yunfu, Chengdu, Wuhan, Beijing, and so on, through planning and approach by linking the existing and planned parks and green, in hope of maximizing the ecological, recreational, and cultural effects.
