Makeshift Hospital

Makeshift hospital, also called “mobile cabin hospital” and “temporary treatment center,” is a kind of mobile medical space, similar to field mobile hospital. During the COVID-19 epidemic, makeshift hospitals are widely used as a major measure for public health prevention, control, and medical treatment in China, which has achieved outstanding results. Different from the field mobile hospitals used in wartime or earthquake relief, they have fixed locations and can be transformed from existing large venues.
