Digital Footprint

2023-04-04 | UPSC

In the Web 3.0 era with in-depth user experience as the core, digital information is no longer simply passively discharged like exhaust gas, but a type of data expressed actively by users based on social needs, thus emerging the concept of "digital footprint" with the rise of social media and fan culture. Digital footprint refers to the data about users' use records, browsing history, emotional experience and use feedback saved on the server after users use digital devices or the Internet. Digital footprint provides us with an opportunity to assess the use of the urban built environment and the impact of events in detail, which can help us make better urban design and management decisions.
