Ecological security pattern, also known as ecological security framework, refers to a potential ecosystem spatial pattern of the landscape, which is composed of some key components of the landscape, their locations, and spatial connections. Ecological security pattern is of great significance to maintain or control the ecological process of a specific area. Different regions have different ecological security patterns, with different characteristics. Its study or design depends on the examination of both spatial structure and ecological process.
