2025-04-03 | kns.cnki.net

A "integrated community" refers to a residential neighborhood where residents have access-within a walkable distance-to comprehensive basic public service facilities, well-developed commercial amenities for daily convenience, complete municipal infrastructure, ample public activity spaces, full coverage of property management services, and a well-functioning community governance system. Such communities are also characterized by a strong sense of belonging and identity among residents. The objective of integrated community development is to ensure the provision of comprehensive basic public service facilities, well-developed convenience-oriented commercial services, adequate municipal infrastructure, sufficient public spaces for community activities, full coverage of property management, and a sound community governance mechanism.
