Over the past few decades, a variety of sustainable structural and non-structural measures have been introduced to mitigate urban flood risks, with the latter playing a key role. Specific strategies include land use planning, flood forecasting, early warning systems, emergency response planning, and public education and awareness campaigns. Among these, flood visualization has emerged as a valuable tool. Advanced technologies such as virtual reality, augmented reality, and digital twins have been integrated into flood risk management, aiding in the development of more effective flood control strategies.
