2、Nanjing, Jiangsu:Retain the "taste of the ancient capital" by the renewal with the warmth.

Nanjing is the ancient capital of the Six Dynasties, as a famous historical and cultural city and a megacity in the Yangtze River Delta, starting from Xiaoxihu, Nanjing's urban renewal exploration has a unique positioning, bringing changes to the ancient city of Nanjing with a warm urban renewal method, and ushering in the integration and renewal between the old and the new.

The exploration of Xiaoxihu has achieved a circle-breaking effect, and there is an endless stream of "scripture learners" from all over the country every week. After being selected as a national demonstration case of historical and cultural protection and inheritance, Xiaoxihu District won the UNESCO Asia-Pacific Cultural Heritage Protection Innovation Design Award.

(3) The warmth of co-build: residents become participants.

"I thought that renewal was to take the house and leave, but I didn't expect that it would be paid for with the government, and the residents would become participants from bystanders. This is the sentiment of the residents of Pomegranate New Community in the city center.

Living in the old city, there are various problems such as aging facilities, crowded and dilapidated houses, and many fire hazards. How to make a family of 20 square meters separate, live in, have an independent kitchen and bathroom, and realize the dream of living in peace. There are four major types of renewal in Nanjing, focusing on residential renewal. Pomegranate New Community adopts a mechanism of consultation and co-construction with the participation of residents throughout the process, and residents widely participate in the whole process of policy formulation, design and transformation. The design draft alone has been revised more than 70 times, forming a total of 36 types of houses in 20 area segments.

The Lotus Pond project in a larger historical residential area will build a five-party platform to realize three-dimensional and all-round communication between government departments, territorial streets, implementation subjects, professional teams and the people. During the implementation process, resident representatives were invited to act as supervisors. After the renovation is completed, residents are invited to conduct a comprehensive evaluation of the effect, so that residents can truly build and govern together.

(4) The warmth of transformation: the old factory also has spring.

In the main city, which is not spacious, young people walk in the block, and you can see wall paintings, spiral stairs and other Internet celebrity check-in points everywhere, trendy, interesting, literary and artistic, and the predecessor of this place called D9 block is the old factory of Nanjing Old Cigarette Factory.

Nanjing encourages all kinds of entities to revitalize the stock of inefficient land or integrate adjacent plots for concentrated and contiguous development through various modes such as industrial transformation, capacity increase and technological transformation, and comprehensive renovation, which are compatible with multiple functions such as rental housing, dormitories, and parking.

The renewal of Nanjing's old cigarette factory, which carries commercial offices, art exhibitions, modern architecture museums and other service functions, has become a useful attempt for Nanjing to build an international consumption center city. On the side of the Ming City Wall, the old factory building of Nanjing Second Machine Tool Factory has been rusted for 70 years, and after repair, maintenance and renewal, it has become Nanjing National Leading Talent Pioneer Park, gathering more than 160 enterprises of various cultural creativity and industrial design. The open park, full of literary and artistic atmosphere, concerts, cultural and art festivals, cultural tourism, business, streets and park interaction, to create a fashionable, diversified, scene-based new social space, the old factory ushered in the spring of development.
