1、Shenyang, Liaoning："1+5+5+N" promotes overall systematic updates
Since Shenyang was approved as one of the first batch of urban renewal pilot cities in the country in November 2021, it has implemented the "Five Major Actions" of urban renewal, compiled and completed the "Shenyang Urban Renewal Special Master Plan", and built a "1+5+5+N" promotion system, that is, to achieve one goal of urban revitalization and development; Implement five major actions to ensure social and people's livelihood, revitalize industrial economy, highlight humanistic charm, optimize green ecology, and support resilience and wisdom, and implement five strategies to practice the concept of "two neighbors", renew inefficient spaces, inherit cultural roots, leave blank space and increase greenery, and improve infrastructure. From a single improvement of physical space to the efficient integration, collaborative utilization and value transformation of global urban resources, the quality of the city has been comprehensively improved.

Shenyang has demarcated 35 core development sectors and 55 renewal areas to create waterfront characteristic functional areas, urban renewal demonstration areas, high-tech industry aggregation areas, and public service center areas, transforming from the past "spreading the pie" and single-center development model to a multi-center, group-based, and networked urban structure.
Shenyang Fangcheng is the origin of Shenyang's 2,300-year-old history, and still maintains a unique spatial texture. Taiyuan Street is one of the demonstration areas of urban renewal in Shenyang, and the renovation of 125 hectares of historical and cultural blocks, the renovation of 1.01 million square meters of old communities, 31 pocket parks and other livelihood public welfare projects in the area will be combined with 6 reserve plots and 10 low-efficiency housing projects.
