Sulin Station of Hubei Engineering Yisuotong Project in Thailand was put into operation

"I am Bunluaesak Thongkaew, English name K.Jim (Jim)"! Jim, born in 1970, is currently the civil engineer and site representative of Sulin Station EPC general contracting project of Yisuotong 230 kV substation EPC project of Hubei Engineering Company Design Institute. He is elegant and wise, humorous and funny, the employees of the company's Yisuotong project in Thailand affectionately call him: "P.Jim!" (Thailand's respectful name for elders).

As a localized professional engineer of China Power Construction Corporation, Jim is fully responsible for project site safety, construction progress, project quality and completion of construction cost targets, and also communicates with all parties according to project needs every day. At the scene, you can see Jim busy at any time. If persistence is a rare quality, then the spirit of overcoming difficulties is the shining point of Jim. Talking about the future development, Jim said: "Power China has given me work and life. I hope that the substation I work in can deliver safe and stable power energy as soon as possible, bringing light and happiness to everyone! On February 5^th, on the occasion of the Lantern Festival, the Yisuotong Station of the Yisuotong Project of Hubei Engineering Company in Thailand successfully completed the commissioning and transmission of electricity, which ushered in an important node in promoting the power construction in northeastern Thailand. On February 13^th, the 115 kV Sulin GIS station of the Yisuotong project of Hubei Engineering Company successfully completed the on-site handover and successfully put into operation, which ushered in an important node in promoting the power construction in northeast Thailand.

The Yisuotong project is an important power hub of the backbone network in Northeast Thailand, and is of great significance for improving the reliability of the power grid in Northeast Thailand. This project is the first batch of EGAT substation projects operated by the design institute affiliated to Hubei Engineering Company in Thailand, and is divided into Yisuotong Station and Sulin Station. Since the project won the bid in 2018, it has experienced difficulties, such as the epidemic and the rainy season in Thailand. In order to ensure that the project's commissioning period is completed as scheduled, Hubei Engineering Company has made overall arrangements and strictly organized. The project department did not stop working during the Spring Festival. On February 5^th, it successfully completed the task of putting into operation and power transmission, and promoted the project construction to achieve strategic phase results.
