3. Tongling, Anhui:Prospering with copper, organic renewal shows the brilliance of the city
Tongling is named after copper, and it is prosperous with copper. In recent years, Tongling has taken urban renewal as an important starting point for expanding urban space, improving functional quality, and improving people's livelihood and well-being. 1)Give equal priority to updates and adjustments and polish the background of happiness.
This year is the final year of the current round of national urban renewal pilot work in Tongling, and so far 17 projects of six major area renewal projects have been completed, with an investment of about 2.5 billion yuan, accounting for 78.7% of the planned investment during the pilot period.
In the implementation of urban renewal work, Tongling City not only pays attention to "new", but also continuously accelerates "renewal", adheres to systematic planning and project-based thinking, compiles special plans for urban renewal, divides 72 urban renewal units, and plans 580 renewal projects, and strives to make the city "appearance" higher, "temperament" better, and "quality" better.
At the same time, Tongling focus on the improvement of connotation, pay equal attention to stock renewal and incremental adjustment, organize and implement key urban renewal projects such as the renovation of existing housing, the improvement of public service facilities, the improvement of the urban ecological environment, the improvement of urban green facilities, the enhancement of urban flood control and drainage capacity, the intensification of sponge city construction, the protection of urban characteristics, and the strengthening of historical and cultural protection and inheritance; actively explore the transformation of independent industrial and mining areas and old industrial areas, and improve the ecological restoration function of the riverside area; adhere to the principle of "government, enterprise, bank, group, concerted efforts, joint construction and sharing" and continue to explore the overall planning mechanism, sustainable model and supporting system and policy of urban renewal.
2)Transform old mining areas to create livable new communities.
At present, the Lion Rock Independent Industrial and Mining Area is an important copper strategic resource guarantee base in China, and it is also a short board area for the regional transformation and upgrading of Tongling City.
The mining area focuses on promoting the renewal and transformation of residents' production and life, implementing the project of resettlement of residents to avoid danger and the renovation and upgrading of old residential areas, so as to provide residents with housing security; building neighborhood centers, farmers' markets, parks, green ways, reading points for citizens, miniature stadiums, etc., in industrial and mining areas, and improving public service facilities; and also restoring and managing the geological environment of mining areas, and continuously improving the living conditions in mining areas.
Nowadays, walking in the Lion Rock Independent Industrial and Mining Area of Tongling City, you will see clean and tidy asphalt roads, fully functional smart farmers' markets, and new and bright buildings. The busy scene of vehicles shuttling back and forth and citizens carrying vegetable baskets shows the popularity and vitality of the old mining area.
"There used to be only one road in and out of the place, the roads were potholed, the wet markets were dilapidated and dirty, and the houses were low and narrow. Mr. Wang, who has lived in the mining area for decades, is deeply touched by the fact that now everything has changed for the better, with a clean farmers' market, a senior care center is being built, and a lot of happiness in his life has improved.
Relying on industrial development, more and more residents in the old mining area have achieved nearby employment, and the happiness index has continued to rise.
3)Transform the old development model into a new model and activate the vitality of development.
Tongling Economic and Technological Development Area is one of the first batch of state-level development zones in prefecture-level cities, with the goal of building a demonstration area for industry-city integration, focusing on the improvement of public service levels and the revitalization of inefficient land, and coordinating the use of "retention, reform, demolition and addition" micro-renewal methods to improve the functions of existing areas and promote the transformation of old and new kinetic energy.
In order to improve the living environment of the area, Tongling Economic and Technological Development Area has vigorously promoted the construction of the Cuihu Sports Ecological Park, the upgrading and upgrading of roads, the upgrading and transformation of the rainwater and sewage pipe network, and the renovation and renovation of staff (talent) apartments, so as to make up for the shortcomings of supporting facilities.
